I usually eat breakfast there but have been there for lunch and dinner. The breakfasts are great.. I love the Lemon rice soup and the gyros with rice. The service has always been good, fast and friendly, the atmosphere is light and airy, very relaxed. I enjoy stopping in here for a good quick meal.

Excellent quick and reliable service everytime I've gone here. Greek and American favorites. Coneys are traditional with skin. Large salads available. Free newspapers go fast.

It's a coney after all, and they usually are good! This is a nice place, very busy and food is decent. The service is fast, I love to stop in for a dog and fries to go, it takes about 2 minutes to get out the door. Like most coney's, they do a great job here and you can't go wrong for dogs or breakfast.

Love "Leo's' Coney Island--Carroll Lake/Commerce twp"! this is the BEST Coney--food is always great & staff & waitresses- are so helpful! Food always taste Great! The others don't compare! The one on Pontiac Trail/Haggerty was so cheap-they -nickled & dimed it--if you'd like more salad dressing -oil & vinegar--they would charge for each little cup! (only gave you 1 little mini amount for a big salad-ridicules--its the principle of it!!!! we stopped going to this one & just kept going to Carroll Lake! I did hear that the Pontiac/Haggerty one was taken over by new owners --hope their better but afraid to try it as of yet!

The only reason Leo's Coney is getting one star is because the waitstaff was nice.!!! We paid $16 for ham and cheese omelette, western omelette and corn beef hash.... The hashbrowns I asked for well done, and we're actually well done, but so is everything else omelettes were WAY OVER COOKED. They were omelettes they had no filling and way overcooked and the corn beef hash that came out of the can..... My toast was the only thing they didn't over cook... Usually would make my wife and I breakfast, but she wasn't feeling well and didn't want me taking extra time to clean the pans. I have had other meals here that were average,(at best).... but my nieces @ 9 & 10 yrs. Old wouldn't serve me food that was like this... Don't know that I will ever bother to go back... Oh and the corn beef.... out of a can looked like dog food...

I'm very conflicted if I Love this place or if I am fed up. Sometimes my carry out comes out perfect. Sometimes it comes out totally wrong. When someone orders something cooked a certain way, it should be cooked that way. Sending things back is a time sucker and frustrating. I can't say I'm blown away, but when you're in the mood for coney, it's an ok option. I think it could use some work, and the owner could really use some tightening of his staff. They're very busy here, and I get that, but they are not as good as they should be with order accuracy and overall employee attitude.

Very lackadaisical waitstaff who do not acknowledge their customers at all. They are extremely rude if you can't make up your mind, and extremely unfriendly when you try to make casual conversation. Not only have I had waitresses never introduce themselves, or even greet me and my party for that matter, but I have had a waitress who openly admitted to not putting our order into the computer, which caused us to wait 30 minutes for our food, without any form of apology, discount, or sense of regret after completely ruining our visit. However she could not have ruined our visit much more than the food could have, considering my mozzarella sticks were cold on the inside and my fries were soggy. This is not just a one time occurrence either, the food here is often given to me when it is too cold to be served. I would have had a better experience heating up frozen mozzarella sticks and fries at home because I would have paid less, and waited less time. I was also extremely offended to walk in one day and order and eat, then be asked, "do you know how to tip?" yes, some teenagers do not tip very well, but it is often because servers discriminate against younger kids because they believe them already to be bad tippers, even though I am more generous than most adults I know. Teenagers are often a bit critical in their tipping because they are treated so poorly, so it is quite presumptuous to say that our bad tipping is due to a lack of knowledge, rather than the waitstaff's rude and unkind demeanor. All in all, I would not attend Leo's of Commerce if you intend to get treated as if you were in a restaurant, because not only does the restaurant have a seemingly unclean look to it, the waitstaff treats the customers as if they were attending a fast food restaurant. Their poor service is not accounted for at all in the food, the only reason this location stays in business is because of pure convenience.

My family goes to Leo's all the time. It's one of our favorite locations. We ordered sides with the meals and they were not provided. When called about the missing items, we were told it was our fault for not reminding them or making sure our order was correct ourselves.

If you want to be ignored and freeze to death, this restaurant is for you! Rude servers, & 50 degrees makes for a restaurant I'll never go to again! Avoid this place at all costs!

Service isn't poor, but it's not good either. Still received food at a speedy pace. Kitchen was on point though. Extensive Menu. Overall, It's a Coney and it delicious.

After passing up the weird looking China King next door, I was very pleased with our lunch on Thursday at Leo's. Service and food were great. Our server was so prompt with everything. I don't have one single complaint. I have been to other Leo's locations. I can tell you that there are several restaurants on this corner and Leo's parking spaces were mostly full. For good reason.

Leo's all around has great breakfast, lunch and dinner. You have to ask for Donna when you go in there. She the best waitress they have and she will take good care of you.

The food is always consistent but the service sucks. To boot one of the waitress was wearing a Tshirt for my direct competitor. I don't think it is appropriate for waitstaff to wear shirts from construction companies or other businesses. I won't spend my money here again because of that.

DO NOT LEAVE THIS RESTAURANT WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR CARRYOUT ORDER. I don't know where they find their hostesses but they are literally too dumb to count styrofoam boxes and they are too ignorant to understand how incredibly inconvenient it is to make a second trip back to the restaurant. They have messed up my order for the last time. I have to say their food is probably the lowest quality of all Leo's too. Skip it and go to one of the many other coneys within a few minutes drive.

Ordered care out for breakfast and left a $2 tip. They apparently didn't think that was enough for a "CAREOUT" and added $2 more to the tip. I called and asked for the manager/Owner who wasn't there, left a message for a return call. No return call!!!!!! Never again.

LOVE Coney island breakfast! Every time I come home to Michigan I come here at least twice. The service is quick, the food is cheap and portions are generous. LOVE the feta & tomato omelet, hashbrowns & rye toast!

I'm the guy who is always looking for the best hot dog where ever I go. Do to the fact I grew up in the Detroit area finding any thing better is not easy! Leo"s is not American or Lafayette Coney but it own style! They are kind of Coney cafe's or diners! I have eaten at a couple of Leo's and they all seem to be pretty good at what they do! The Greek food items do add to the new Coney style which is great, if the food is stand alone great! Leo's gets the marks for that also! They use natural cased hot dogs for the correct snap, the lose hamburger is seasoned well, the coney sauce has the right spices in it, all and all a good Coney Dog! The breakfast is a winner big plate full of good hot food and at a price that does not clean out your pocket! Remember to eat well and live well! And please no chains!

We had the world's worst fried chicken here. To start with the pieces are extemely small, almost the size of a cornish game hen, It was obvious that it had been fried more than once. It came out dry as cardboard and hard as a rock. There was next to no meat on it. The fries were undercooked and tasted like they were cooked in old grease, terrible! To top it off, it took a long time to get it, they must have spent every second of the wait overcooking this $10 mess.

It is Leo's, not much to say about it besides that if you are from the area. Most the things they serve are good, you will always see someone you know, go for the Opa or one of the breakfast specials in the morning. Coffee is so-so.
